About this Episode

Today we sit down with Mark Manson who you probably know as the author of a best-selling book that took the world by storm two years ago, called “The Subtle Art of Not Giving A Fuck”. As of today, it’s sold more than 8 million copies.

Now while I’d certainly heard of Mark and his book, I didn’t realize how he got his start as an author.

Well it turns out that his journey began as a humble blogger and an affiliate marketer.

We’ll talk about how he got his start and then transitioned into an author, and then we’ll dive into an incredibly important topic today, which is how to protect your mind in a world that is changing at an exponential rate.

Well dive into the effects of social media on your brain, the two different versions of the world being created right now between the East and the West, and how AI will play a critical role in both.

Ultimately, change is here, it’s happening right now, and you can either become the victim of it, or you can take a look at what’s happening from a new perspective far above, and see where the dangers and opportunities are found.

About the Instructor

Mark Manson NYTimes bestselling author of The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck, a blogger, and internet entrepreneur
Most of what I write is written for myself, first and foremost. I don’t share these ideas because I think I’m right and other people are wrong. I write them because I think I’m wrong, and correcting my own misjudgments on a public platform seems to help out a lot of other people in the process.
