As promised, today I wanted to send you an important update on some changes I’m making to my existing business, and give you a sneak peek of where I’m turning my focus into the future… 

Obviously, the past two years have been unbelievably difficult from a business perspective…

When you run a business that requires you to show up, create, write, record, think, and lead, when you physically CAN’T… For nearly two years…

What do you do?

That’s the reality I had to deal with, until about three months ago. 

There were two, and only two reasons I managed to survive the past two years physically and financially… 

The first was the group of people who showed up and who literally helped save my life…

I consider each of them real-life super heroes… 

Dr. Anny Shippy who discovered the mold infection… Dr. Robert Brown, Dr. Eleanor Womack, Dr. Eyvonne Williams, Dr. Gerry Schriever, Aubrey and Wailana Marcus, Krisstina Wise, Blair Dunkley, Guenter Bergmann, JP Newman, Adrian Lufschanowski, Elliot Roe, Josh Bezoni, Tucker Max, Joe Polish, Jonathan and Heika Hudson, Tah and Kole Whitty, Curt Maly, and I’m sure there are others I’m forgetting at this moment…

And the second reason I survived, was YOU. 

Yes, you, and all of the subscribers on my email list and podcast. 

My email list literally saved my life. 

It’s the one and only way I was able to continue paying for all of the medical expenses, employees, and monthly bills. 

I’ve said for nearly a decade now, that your email list is the most valuable asset you’ll ever develop as a business owner. 

Holy smokes… Did I ever put that theory to the test! 

Every few months I’d take a previous promotion from the year before and simply duplicate that campaign, or I’d have an opportunity to promote a product or service I was passionate about as an affiliate…

And it worked. Just as it always has…

In the last two years, I wasn’t able to create a single new product.

I wasn’t able to run any ad campaigns. 

And I spent 90% of my time curled up on the couch or in bed.

For all intents and purposes, I didn’t have a business.

But I had an email list, and here’s what happened…  

During the past two years when I was unable to create, or write, or work, and when I didn’t have any marketing campaigns running, my business still managed to produce $2.33 Million in revenue…

And that doesn’t include income from affiliate promotions, which would increase that number to right around $3 million. 

Again… With zero ads running and while I’m completely knocked out for the count. 

So Why Am I Telling You This?

Because I want to help you do the same…

Now that my body is recovering and my energy is coming back, I can finally say that I’m truly excited about the future again 🙂

During the past year, there’s been one question I’ve been asking myself non-stop…

“What would I WANT do
if I got a second chance?”

That question has been at the core of every aspect of my life… Spiritually, financially, emotionally… 

After countless hours of brain-storming and soul-searching, the answer finally became clear a few months ago…

The biggest source of reward, results, and fulfillment I’ve ever experienced in business has come from having an audience. 

There have been so many blessings and amazing things that have taken place in my life because I have an audience…

Having an audience has given me the ability to launch new businesses and passion projects whenever I’ve wanted, and without a single worry about finding customers.

Having an audience has allowed me to meet some of the most incredible people in the world… People I would have never gotten the chance to meet otherwise like Tony Robbins, Daymond John, Gene Simmons, Tony Hawk, and Richard Branson…

Having an audience has allowed me to be of service, and to help spread life-changing knowledge that has helped millions of people from over 100 countries during the past 15 years.

The amount of appreciation that I’ve received in the form of letters, emails, and videos for my work is endlessly gratifying. 

  • Having an audience has given me the ability to launch new businesses and passion projects whenever I’ve wanted, and without a single worry about finding customers.
  • Having an audience has allowed me to meet some of the most incredible people in the world… People I would have never gotten the chance to meet otherwise like Tony Robbins, Daymond John, Gene Simmons, Tony Hawk, and Richard Branson…
  • Having an audience has allowed me to be of service, and to help spread life-changing knowledge that has helped millions of people from over 100 countries during the past 15 years. The amount of appreciation that I’ve received in the form of letters, emails, and videos for my work is endlessly gratifying. 
  • Having an audience has inspired people to reach out and invite me to amazing events like the Indy 500, and get to know the founders of incredible companies like Charity:Water.org, and support their efforts.  
  • It’s allowed me to invest in game-changing companies like Onnit, Click&Grow, and DropFunnels. 
  • And it ultimately saved my life. 

At the end of the day, the more people you help and serve, the more help you get in return. 

Having an audience has allowed me to do that at scale, and the return has been immeasurable. 

Ironically, growing an audience isn’t something that I’ve ever pursued intentionally, which is why I’ve never really built a large following on social media.

It’s simply occurred as a by-product of the online marketing business model. 

Over the past 15 years, I’ve probably had more than 2 million subscribers on my email list, and the podcast has been downloaded more than 6 million times without a single paid promotion or advertisement of any kind. 

Looking back at my life today, I can say without hesitation that building an audience has been the most valuable asset I’ve ever built, both personally and professionally. 

Heck, it literally helped save my life this year thanks to the amazing emails and resources many of you have sent in during my health crisis.  

So what would happen if I actually put intention and energy into growing it?
What if I made it an actual priority, instead of a by-product of a marketing campaign?

What kind of opportunities would that create, and how many people could I serve?

Look at the impact people like Oprah, Joe Rogan, or my friend Lewis Howes have been able to have on the world, simply because they built an audience… 

So yes, focusing on building a large audience would allow me to make a massive, positive impact on the world…

But what if I dedicated my time to helping and teaching others how to do the same?

Remember all of the super heroes I mentioned above that helped save my life this past year?

My doctor Ann, my friend Blair Dunkley, or Elliot Roe… 

All of them are incredible human-beings who are providing life-changing help to others, but they’re only making a fraction of the impact that they could, because most people simply don’t know they exist. 

They’re so focused on their work, they haven’t had the time or opportunity to acquire the skills needed to make an impact at scale. 

Well what if I helped change that?

What if I showed people like them, (and like you) who are all over the world, in all kinds of industries, how to build a large audience so they can help more people?

Unfortunately, right now most of the people who have large audiences are the “wrong” people…

They’re crooked politicians, narcassitic celebrities, paid-for media personalities, and wounded attention-seekers who are out to serve themselves. 

We need to change that. 

We need to put real servant leaders, healers, creators, artists, and innovators in front of the next generation. These are the kinds of people we need to give our attention to. 

So that’s what I’m going to spend the next chapter of my life doing. 

I’m going to focus on building my audience and making the biggest impact I can…

I’m going to use the attention of my audience to shine a light on people and businesses who are making the world a better place…

And I’m going to teach good people, who are doing good things in the world, how to build a large audience quickly, effectively, and at scale so they can make a bigger impact. 

I’m going to turn 100% of my focus towards that business in the months to come. 

I’ve already outlined the business and the content which will consist of…

  • The first and only book I’ve written since Magnetic Sponsoring 15 years ago. 
  • A world-class course teaching you the most effective ways to build your audience, impact, and income. 
  • A software system that’s already in beta-testing…
  • And a mastermind filled with real-life super heroes.

I’ve already filed the trademark for the brand which is in the final stages of approval right now, and as soon as I get the confirmation, I’ll be sharing it with you here.

My goal is to launch this new company by the end of this year.
